C'est en Anglais mais en regardant les photos vous allez mieux comprendre le sujet traité. Indice : X files (en tout cas ils ont de l'imagination, encore une conspiration de plus)
Other (unaltered) photographs taken by news photographers and amateurs have been touted as containing images of everything from Satan to UFOs. Claims of this sort are circulating from around the world. For example, the image shown below—forwarded to CSICOP by the Argentinian skeptics society, C.A.I.R.P.—alleges in its caption that it shows the disk of a UFO next to the flaming World Trade Center towers. It is, in fact, an unidentified object—perhaps a dust particle on the lens of the camera, or a distant aircraft—but the suggestion that the object captured in this image (hardly bigger than the pixel resolution of the picture) is an Unidentified Flying Object of the alien variety must be rejected, given this poor sort of evidence. It is unfortunate that these sorts of idle claims are made, since they trivialize the disaster.

Others see images of the Satan or some demon in pictures of smoke billowing from the doomed New York towers. The two examples below have gotten widespread attention. On the left is an Associated Press photograph, on the right, a photo by CNN. Both photographs seem to depict the faces of menacing entities. These images are, in fact, examples of "simulacra" (singular "simulacrum")--a Latin term which means likeness. It is the same effect that leads people to believe that they see a face in the knot of a tree or an animal in the shape of clouds. The human brain is constantly searching for meaningful visual patterns: it's a survival skill. Unfortunately it often convinces us that it sees "something" in an object that is essentially random, as in the billowing smoke in these photographs.

New simulacrum: The face of God

Truly subjective impressions: While some see the face of Satan, others see the face of the Almighty.

Et ca aussi c'est pas mal dans le genre et pour le coût très troublant

The info@csicop.org mailbox has been flooded with hundreds of queries about the photo below, which shows a hapless World Trade Center tourist having his photo taken a split second before an American Airlines jetliner crashes into the tower he's standing on. The alleged provenance of the photo is that it was recovered from a camera found in the WTC wreckage. It is a gut-wrenching scene, and a complete fake.

Troublant... Tourist

Once again, the indefatigable researchers at www.snopes.com have the scoop on this faked photo. Here's their debunking in a nutshell:

The tourist captured in the photo is wearing a heavy winter coat and a hat, unusual attire given that September 11th was a warm, late-summer day.
The plane is approaching the WTC from the north, so it would have to have been the North Tower (WTC1). WTC1 did not have an observation deck. (Even if photo had shown a view from WTC2's observation deck, that deck is not open until 9:30 am. The first plane hit at 8:49.)
The plane shown is an American Airlines Boeing 757: the AA flight which struck the WTC was a Boeing 767.
Other observations that have been made include the suspicious lack of blur. It would take an incredibly fast shutter-speed to capture a plane traveling between 400 and 500 miles per hour (600 - 800 kmh) at so near a distance.

A closeup of the date on the picture (below) betrays the fact that it is exactly one pixel wide and has therefore been drawn in after the picture was scanned.

Culprit photo in hoax found?

[/img]http://www.csicop.org/hoaxwatch/compare.JPGwww.airliners.net (CSICOP thanks photographer Jonathan Derden for his permission to use this photo. To go directly to orgiginal image, click here.) Decide for yourself: is this the same plane, or not? The orientation of the plane, the illumination reflected from its fuselage, and both its configuration and AA markings seem to be identical. It certainly seems that one element of the hoax has been uncovered. CSICOP thanks Don Malcolm for his contribution.
